Logistical Tips

Preparation for Your Tent Installation

  • Lawn Care: Please have your lawn mowed at least one day before your scheduled delivery.

  • Clear the Area: Move any yard furniture, vehicles, or obstacles to provide our delivery team with easy access to the installation site

  • Mark Utility Lines: If stakes are required for your setup, please make sure all underground utility lines (gas, electric, water, sprinklers, etc.) are clearly marked. Contact Dig Safe if you need assistance.

  • Mark the Tent Location: If you won’t be home during the installation, please mark the exact spot where you'd like the tent placed.

Preparing for Pickup

  • Clear the Tent Area: Remove all non-rental items and any trash from the tent space.

  • Return Tables & Chairs: Please stack tables and chairs as they were upon delivery (unless breakdown service was selected). If not completed, a fee of $1 per chair and $2 per table will be applied.

  • Organize Rental Items: Place all remaining rental items under the tent or in a pre-arranged, accessible location for the pickup crew.

Avoiding Cleaning & Damage Fees

  • Sidewalls: You may remove sidewalls if desired. Please roll them neatly and store them indoors. If sidewalls are found to be dirty or wet upon pickup, a cleaning fee of $4/ft and a drying fee of $2/ft will apply.

  • Rental Item Care: Unless prearranged, please keep all rental items under the tent. Items left outside that become wet or dirty may incur a cleaning fee, based on the item type.

  • Do Not Alter Equipment: Avoid pinning, nailing, taping, or making any modifications to rental equipment.

Avoiding Additional Labor Fees

  • Limited Truck Access: If our truck cannot access the installation site via a driveway, please note that our trucks cannot drive on grass or soft surfaces.

  • Long Walking Distances: If there is an extended walking distance from the truck parking area to the setup location.

  • Non-Ground Floor Installation: If setup requires using stairs, elevators, or accessing floors above ground level.

  • Special Surface Requirements: If tent installation requires drilling into rock or pavement.
